All natural Gum Arabic/Acacia gum crystals (hardened sap)
Used for controlling the spread of wet colours on paper, reduces staining and slows drying time
Increases gloss and transparency of colours
Helps prevent feathering and bleeding of ink on paper
Mix with water to liquefy and to get desired consistency
Use as a binder for calligraphy (binds pigments to paper)
Add gum Arabic to inks to increase the viscosity (to thicken it)
